MiX TELEMATICS’ SURVEY IN ELD COMPLIANCE

Global provider of fleet and mobile asset management solutions, MiX Telematics, announces results of survey conducted among fleet executives and managers. The survey took place in March and April 2018 and received 122 complete responses.

Reducing risky driving was identified as a top concern for fleet professionals followed by optimizing operating costs, ELD/HOS compliance, and improving maintenance. Optimizing overall fleet operating costs was the top concern followed by improving maintenance among fleets with more than 500 vehicles.

Chief client officer of MiX Telematics North America, Pete Allen says, “By this point—seven months after the ELD Mandate went into effect—we expected higher compliance. Three in 10 fleets that need to comply have not yet done so. With the FMCSA now fully enforcing the law, fleets need to take action.” For more, visit www.mixtelematics.com or explore.mixtelematics.com/us/white-paper/survey.
