Expand Your Frontiers with Nissan

BUSINESS EXPANSION’S PERFECT PARTNER

Frontier

If 2018 was a year of innovation in the work truck industry, 2019 will be the year of expansion. With a strong, profitable year behind your business, it’s safe to say things are on the up-and-up. It’s time to broaden your frontiers, and take your business to the next level. To do that, you need an innovative workhorse in your arsenal, and we’ve got the perfect solution.

It’s led the JD Power Initial Quality Study for three years running. It’s hailed as America’s most affordable pickup truck. It remains a true “mid-size” truck where other trucks in the segment grow larger, making city parking and tight driving a more difficult task. It’s a tough workhorse in a convenient package. It’s the Nissan Frontier.

The Frontier has a few new things in store for 2019, but don’t worry—those reliable characteristics you’ve come to know and love in the Frontier remain the same.

WHERE IT STARTS

To build a reliable truck, let’s begin with Nissan’s F-Alpha platform: a full-length, fully boxed ladder frame that provides a strong foundation for Nissan’s trucks and SUVs. The platform is constructed of high tensile-strength steel and provides structural rigidity for exceptional performance on- and off-road.

Although the standard Frontier keeps its true mid-size pickup stature, it’s big enough to carry all the cargo needed for your work projects with its long, standard wheelbase of 125.9 inches. Not only is that room enough for your cargo, but the wheelbase length contributes to a more comfortable ride. The 205.5-inch King Cab and Crew Cab wheelbase is a great option for those who don’t need a true full-size pickup.

Choose between two engines: a 4-L DOHC V6 rated at 261 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque or a 2.5-L inline 4-cylinder engine rated at 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque (King Cab only). Pair these engines with a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual (V6), or 5-speed automatic transmission.

RIDE IN STYLE

The 2019 Frontier is designed to include a number of signature Nissan truck themes. The exterior features: an angled strut grille; short front and rear overhangs; large, stamped-steel geometric fender flares; and large bumpers.

Frontier SL models feature a chrome front grille, chrome door handles and mirrors, tubular step rails, and front fog lights. A moonroof is available on Crew Cab SV and standard on the SL model, while a tailgate spoiler is standard on all models.

The Frontier has a comfy interior to complement its sleek exterior. Both King Cab and Crew Cab feature large rear doors for easy access to rear seating and cargo areas. The interior also features ample storage compartments with flip-up rear seats, center console storage, a locking dual glove box, one-liter bottle storage integrated into the front doors, and multiple standard cupholders and power points. New features for the 2019 include the addition of a 7-inch color audio display touchscreen for S and SV grades.

Did you see the Frontier Midnight Edition Package introduced for 2018? That edition continues with the 2019 model. The Midnight Edition gives the Frontier a gloss black grille, 18-inch gloss black aluminum-alloy wheels, body-color front and rear bumpers, semi-gloss black step rails, black badging, and black outside rearview mirrors and door handles. Talk about a dramatic look for your fleet.

OFF-ROAD READY

The Frontier has a minimum running ground clearance of 8.6 inches (4×2) or 8.9 inches (4×4) on V6-equipped S, SV, SL, and PRO-4X models due to key underbody hardware that is tucked up to the frame rails—making it the perfect vehicle for those whose work takes them off the beaten path.

Frontier 4×4 models are available with a 4-wheel limited-slip system that helps transfer power to the drive wheels with more grip on surfaces with low traction. An available Hill Descent Control feature, which must be engaged by the driver via a switch, allows slow hill descent without riding the brake pedal. Activate it at speeds up to 15 mph in 4LO and 21 mph in 4H.

A range of wheels and tires are available with the Frontier including 18-inch wheels with 265/60R18 tires and 16-inch off road style wheels with rugged 265/75R16 white-letter All-Terrain tires.

BRING EVERYTHING

The truck bed is just about as innovative as it gets. Long Bed models, available with Crew Cab SV, measure more than 13 inches longer than the Crew Cab’s standard bed and offer the roomy interior of the Crew Cab with the extended bed space of the King Cab. Both King Cab and Crew Cab offer an available high-utility bed that includes a factory-applied spray-on bedliner and Utili-track Channel System.

The Utili-track system provides enhanced cargo hauling flexibility through the use of five “C” cross-section rails mounted in the bed (one channel each on the bed side rails and the bed header panel and two in the bed floor). Removable utility cleats slide into the channels and provide a wide range of attaching points for securing cargo.

A full range of accessories is also offered for use with the channel system, such as bed dividers, sliding cargo trays, and modular storage units.

When your cargo requires towing, the Frontier can handle it. The truck’s maximum towing capacity is rated at up to 6,720 lbs when properly equipped.

LIMITLESS FRONTIERS

When you roll up to the Nissan lot to buy your next fleet truck, you’ll be greeted with a wide variety of models, configurations, and packages available with the Frontier—anything you need to accomplish those next steps in your business.

Make 2019 a year of growth, expansion, and productivity. Do it in a Nissan Frontier.
