Hot Shot’s Secret introduces a quick-install Frantz Bypass Filter System for the Ford 6-L and 6.4-L PowerStroke. The system installs in five minutes and removes up to 96% of all wear particles from engine oil. This improves engine protection, engine life, and extended oil drain intervals. The purpose of the Frantz Filter System is to deliver an endless supply of clean oil to your engine. The Frantz Filter System filters a controlled percentage of oil at a time. This allows the system to filter oil more than 10 times finer than an OEM filter (as fine as 2 microns), keeping oil in a like-new state.
The system includes a Frantz filter, oil filter cap, oil-fill cap, gasket, and two quick-release pre-made stainless-steel braided hose lines. With this system, unlike others on the market, there is no major assembly required—just tighten fittings to install. The only tools needed for installation are a 9/16 wrench and a crescent wrench. The base mounts to the truck with powerful magnets for a no-drill installation.
THE INNOVATION CONTINUES
John Frantz developed the simple bypass filter design in 1953. The innovation continues as Hot Shot’s Secret pursues new designs, tests filter media, and creates system configurations; this quick install version is the latest to be introduced. The Frantz Filter System partnered with Hot Shot’s Secret’s Blue Diamond 100% PAO engine oil allows oil to last up to 100,000 miles.

While we started with the 6-L and 6.4-L PowerStroke, we have plans to extend the quick installation feature to our other model-specific Frantz Filter kits soon.”
