VMAC Recognized as a Best Workplace in Canada for Second Straight Year

Great Place To Work®, an authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures, again recognized VMAC as a Best Workplace in Canada.

For Best Workplaces in Canada list consideration, organizations must first be Great Place To Work certified. Then, employees must complete an anonymous survey and agree that their workplace is in fact a great place to work. Finally, Great Place to Work conducts an in-depth review of the organization’s culture.

VMAC President Todd Gilbert says being named one of Canada’s Best Workplaces for a second year is a company honor. He adds that the coworker-driven process makes the list different among others. “Our team collectively agreed via an anonymous survey that VMAC is a great place to work,” Gilbert says. “This national award is proof that VMAC’s success is due to our extraordinary people-centric culture.”

In the last year, VMAC has demonstrated a commitment to coworker health and safety, helping coworkers cope with the pandemic. VMAC implemented health and safety measures early on, including redesigning workspaces and ongoing work-from-home options. The company also implemented rigorous cleaning protocols and a focus on coworker mental health support services and education.

Gordon Duval, VMAC’s VP of marketing and sales, attributes VMAC’s success to its “resilient and talented team” of coworkers. VMAC remains committed to providing solutions to its customers, dealers, and partners as a result of its high-trust, high-performance workplace culture, Duval says.
