NTEA Announces Collaboration with Commercial Truck Trader and S&P Global Mobility for Special Report due This Fall

NTEA announced a collaboration with Commercial Truck Trader and S&P Global Mobility (formerly the automotive team at IHS Markit). The collaboration will provide commercial vehicle life cycle trends as well as intelligence to the work truck industry.

This cooperative initiative is expected to result in the North American Commercial Vehicle Market Report, powered by Commercial Truck Trader, NTEA, and S&P Global Mobility. The semi-annual industry report will delve into the details, data, and trends around the life cycle of commercial vehicles. This includes chassis shipments to truck registration to later stages of used vehicle resell.

Kevin Koester, NTEA managing director, says the commercial vehicle community has a healthy appetite for this type of information. The collaboration will allow data point connection in new ways that provide thorough forecasting and trend analysis.

Charles Bowles of Trader Interactive says the company strives to be a trusted resource in the commercial vehicle space. He says Trader Interactive, Commercial Truck Trader parent company, also strives to provide tools to make marketing easier for customers. “The North American Commercial Vehicle Market Report will do just that,” Bowles says.

Additionally, Andrej Divis of S&P Global Mobility says it excites the company to contribute to the report. Divis says the company hopes the report will provide more clarity as the industry faces today’s challenges.
