As the demand for reefer technicians continues to surge, Amerit is taking a step by establishing the Reefer Tech Academy. This program is meticulously designed to equip technicians with the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience to excel in the complex world of refrigeration systems. The curriculum blends theoretical concepts with practical application, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to tackle real-world challenges. By the end of the program, participants will understand the components of a refrigeration unit as well as the environmental roles and responsibilities attributed to the position.

TRAILER TECH ACADEMY
Developed under Amerit’s proprietary learning and development program, Amerit University, the curriculum is designed by in-house experts, leveraging their extensive industry experience and understanding of the latest technological advancements. The Trailer Tech Academy is exclusively available to current Amerit employees and new hires.
The Trailer Tech Academy offers a comprehensive training program specifically designed to empower unskilled individuals to gain proficiency as trailer technicians. Recognizing the demand for qualified techs through the industry, Amerit has developed an eight-part curriculum that encompasses a wide range of technical skills necessary for successful trailer maintenance and repair. From electrical systems to braking mechanisms, participants will receive in-depth online and hands-on training on the intricacies of trailer components, PMs, diagnostics, and repairs.

The program is built on the progressive model of combining self-paced offline and hands-on learning with online group learning led by the instructor. An emphasis is placed on the participants as a team, fostering social learning and support as they gain and share newfound skills.
