BOSS Industries, LLC announced the acquisition of the commercial assets of HIPPO Multipower. This includes HIPPO’s full line of one-of-a-kind mobile multipower solutions for utilities, municipalities, railroads, and industrial coatings.

Founded in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1972, HIPPO Multipower was a truck equipment upfitter, specializing in aerial bucket trucks. After developing a reputation as a mobile hydraulic equipment specialist, HIPPO built the industry’s first multipower unit in 1980. The unit delivered hydraulic as well as air and electric power all from one unit powered by the truck’s PTO.
BOSS Industries looks forward to manufacturing and distributing the HIPPO commercial product line through its distribution channels. The company also looks forward to developing new products with the HIPPO commercial team.
