Frantz Filters Expands Product Line

ADDS NEW DURAMAX, CUMMINS, AND POWERSTROKE DIESEL BYPASS OIL FILTER KITS

Frantz Filter 6.0 and 6.4-L Powerstroke Kit

Frantz Filters now offers an expanded line of Duramax, Cummins, and Powerstroke Bypass Oil Filter Kits.

In addition to the company’s kit for gas and diesel-powered vehicles, Frantz now offers custom-designed kits for common diesel-powered vehicles. The new kit applications include: the Ford Powerstroke 6.7-L, 7.3-L; dual model kit for the 6.0-L/6.4-L Powerstroke; and three separate 6.6-L Duramax/GMC kits for years 2001–2016, 2017–2019, and the current 2020–2021. Frantz also introduced a kit for the 5.9-L and 6.7-L Cummins that can be configured based on model year. Users can order parts for many other makes and models by working with a Frantz Filters specialist.

The Frantz Filter is engineered to provide an endless supply of clean oil to the engine. With a 4-1/2-inch filtration depth, the kit filters oil 10 times finer than an OEM filter, down to two microns. As a result, all solid contamination including wear metals and dirt is removed, engine oil is kept cooler, and excess moisture and water—the catalyst for rust and corrosion—is removed to extend the engine’s life and performance.

THIRD-PARTY TESTED

Frantz Filter keeps oil analytically cleaner than brand new oil. Based on a third-party test with Blackstone Laboratories, after running dirty oil through the Frantz Filter on a 6.0-L Powerstroke F-350 with over 215,000 miles, the particle count revealed just 1,641 contaminating particles at two microns—a 96% decrease in contamination. A sample taken from brand new Shell Rotella Motor Oil revealed 1,818 contaminating particles at two microns, effectively showing a lower particle count than brand new engine oil.

Developed as an easy-to-install bypass filter, the kit installs in under an hour and all necessary hardware is included. The kit is ideal for Class 1 to 3 trucks and SUVs, especially fleets that require many hours of idling or continual use where oil change maintenance intervals are frequent. Installation greatly reduces downtime maintenance of fleets that require oil changes every 5,000 to 7,000 miles. Extended oil change intervals saves both time and money. It also ensures high-quality clean engine oil circulates through the system, keeping the engine and components working at optimum performance.
