“From Today I Forgo My Salary”

LIQUI MOLY CEO WAIVES PERSONAL INCOME TO PROTECT JOBS

In a time when the economy is just as uncertain as the release of a vaccine for COVID-19, LIQUI MOLY CEO Ernst Prost announces he will waive his salary to preserve jobs at the company, even for temporary workers.

“I do not want to lose anyone, I do not want to leave anyone behind, I do not want to give anyone notice, and I do not want to announce short-time working,” Ernst Prost states in a letter to his colleagues.

His also states in the letter that LIQUI MOLY has seen little change in operations during the pandemic, save a few hundred canceled containers. Otherwise the company has seen a delivery rate of almost 100% with demands in motor oil remaining steady as transport companies, garbage collection, post offices, rescue services, and more are still in operation.
