US ISUZU TECHNICIANS WIN SILVER IN WORLD TECHNICAL CHALLENGE
US Isuzu technicians win silver for the second year in a row at Isuzu’s 13th Annual Isuzu One Grand Prix World Technician Competition. The competition requires outstanding performance on written exams and hands-on tests of vehicle diagnosis and repair skills. Prior to 2017, no US team made the top three in the championship’s history.
The Isuzu Commercial Truck of America (ICTA) team consisted of Kiel Trout of RWC Isuzu Truck in Seattle, Washington; Matthew Bertagnoli of Lynch Isuzu Truck in Waterford, Wisconsin; and Josiah Carr of Susquehanna Isuzu Truck in West Milton, Pennsylvania, who attended as an alternate in case the other two were unable to compete. FedEx announces the expansion of its fleet to include 1,000 Chanje V8100 electric delivery vehicles. FedEx is purchasing 100 of the vehicles from Chanje Energy Inc and leasing 900 from Ryder System Inc.
