ROAR LOGISTICS ACQUIRES INTEGRA LOGISTICS SERVICES

ROAR extends its reach across North America with the acquisition of Integra Logistics. This positions ROAR with offices in eight major markets and more than 120 Associates. Since 2003, Integra has built an extensive offering of logistics solutions and transportation services for its clients, transporting a range of packaged materials and finished goods via intermodal and highway transportation services. It will integrate its corporate headquarters and technology center in Houston, Texas, and full-service sales and support operations in Dallas, Texas, and Chicago into the ROAR network.

ROAR entered the transportation industry in 2003 as an intermodal marketing company, approaching the industry from the perspective of a shipper rather than a provider of transportation services. LOADDOCS ALLOWS WORKERS TO COMPLETE PAPERWORK ON THE ROAD

Using smartphone connectivity, LoadDocs allows field workers to submit work documents directly from the jobsite to the office. From the LoadDocs app, workers simply align the document within the frame shown on their device. The app automatically rotates, crops, and adjusts colors to send a legible, high-quality electronic copy. Ford Commercial Solutions’ new Data Services product serves large company fleets, telematics service providers, and fleet management companies. The service transfers data from the vehicle directly to the cloud, no third-party service necessary. The data is relayed to the fleet’s internal IT system or telematics service provider. EATON CUMMINGS PROCISION TRANSMISSION PERFORMANCE AND LOWER MAINTENANCE COSTS NOW AVAILABLE TO WIDER VOCATION RANGE

Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies expands into medium-duty coverage with its Procision 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to include construction, utility, refuse, tanker, and municipal trucks. The application coverage allows customers in the added vocations access to the maneuverability, fuel economy, ease of service, and total cost of ownership advantages provided by Procision. The gross combined weight rating of 35,000 lbs and maximum engine ratings of 300 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque remain.

Dana launches Spicer Select drivetrain products, a line of all-makes coverage for North American commercial vehicle aftermarket. PPG LAUNCHES FAST DRY URETHANE SEALER

PPG’s commercial coatings division added F4943 2.1 VOC Fast Dry Urethane Sealer to the DELFLEET Evolution lineup. The sealer is lead- and chromate-free and fully compatible with all DELFLEET Evolution primers. Its 2.1 VOC rating makes the sealer compliant for all parts of the US and Canada.
