Jasper Engines & Transmissions announced the availability of its remanufactured GM Duramax 6.6-L LML Running Complete diesel engine. This engine is officially available for 2011-2016 Silverado and Sierra 2500 and 3500 models.
“This engine has three available options: a standard design, a head stud option, and a head stud option with an upgraded crank made of 4340 forged steel, and a deep nitride treatment,” says JASPER New product development group leader, Brad Boeglin. “The crank includes a larger true form radi, a dual key for the damper, and upgraded oiling holes.”
ENGINE FEATURES
JASPER’s remanufactured Duramax 6.6-L LML Running Complete engine includes the block, crank, cam, connecting rods, pistons, and oil pick-up tube. It includes the oil pump, upper and lower oil pan, oil level sensor, flywheel housing, front cover, and vibration damper. It also includes water pump, oil cooler and oil filter assembly, oil cooler water supply tube, and assembled cylinder heads. The engine is also complete with lifters, pushrods, rocker assemblies and valve train, rocker housings, valve covers, and intake manifolds. It features the upper intake pipe, turbocharger, turbo air inlet, turbo oil and water plumbing, and exhaust manifolds.
The engine includes exhaust turbo inlet (up-pipes), lower thermostat housing/water crossover, upper thermostat housing/water outlet, thermostats, and fuel injectors. It features fuel injector supply and return lines, indirect fuel injector supply line, high-pressure fuel pump, and high-pressure fuel lines. It also includes high-pressure fuel rails, fuel filter assembly, and engine mounted low-pressure fuel supply with return lines and hoses. Finally, it includes EGR bypass valve, EGR valve, and EGR coolers.
Additionally, the following sensors and components are installed for convenience: crank, cam, oil pressure, oil level, fuel temp (where applicable). JASPER also installed fuel rail pressure, fuel pressure relief valve, fuel switch, water temp, MAP, and charge air temp. EGR inlet and outlet temp, engine sensor jumper harness, and glow plugs are also installed. Additionally, JASPER covers the engine with a warranty of up to two years parts and labor.
