KH Industries announced its new CRK series cord reels available in three models. These cord reels are versatile enough to work in a variety of environments including indoor or outdoor use.
These enclosed cord reels are designed with safety in mind as they are UL listed in both the US and Canada. Cord management is a priority at any jobsite, and the 20-ft SJTOOW cord retracts into the reel to reduce trip hazards in the workspace. All models have two-pole, three-wire grounding, a built-in circuit breaker, and reset button. Additionally, the fixed L-shaped mounting bracket and stainless steel hardware keep the reel mounted safely and securely to the wall or ceiling.
The two indoor models (CRK-C515-T12E and CRK-1DB515-T12E) both have a NEMA 2 rating with either a NEMA 5-15R plug or a duplex outlet box on the end. The indoor/outdoor model (CRK-C515W-T12E) has a sealed connector on the end that has a NEMA 3R rating when used outdoors with an in-use cover. All models are supplied with a molded NEMA 5-15 plug on the feed side.
Dimensions of the reels are approximately 11.39 inches H x 10.69 inches W x 4.18 inches D, including the mounting bracket.
The enclosure, constructed of black, UV- and moisture-resistant engineered thermoplastic, is sought after in the commercial kitchen and culinary work environment, but is ideal for a variety of applications in and out of the kitchen.
