New Power Heavy Duty Member Strapps’ Truck Center Keeps Focus on Customers & Community

Power Heavy Duty is pleased to welcome Stapps’ Truck Center as one of the newest distributors to join its network.

With the Russell Springs, Kentucky company approaching its 25th anniversary, Stapps’ Truck Center continues to provide complete service and parts support for trucks and trailers across all market segments in their region. They also continue to support the community in which they work and live. Owned and operated by twin brothers, parts manager Troy Stapp and shop supervisor Trent Stapp, the Stapps’ Truck Center team is active helping the town through volunteering and contributing to local organizations.

“Stapps’ Truck Center works hard to make and keep strong connections with our customers and community. We believe in helping and going the extra mile to get a truck back up and running so the customer can get back to their livelihood,” says Troy Stapp.

When it comes to the trucking industry, the first-generation company provides support as a full-line parts distributor with 2,500 square feet of warehousing and two delivery vehicles. On the repair side, they operate seven bays and have in-house hydraulic hose fabrication and flywheel resurfacing services.

The company was founded in 1999 and moved to their current 12,500-square-foot facility in 2007.

“The Power Heavy Duty network thrives on members like Stapps’ Truck Center, and we welcome them to our organization,” says Jim Pennig, vice president of Business Development for the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies. “The Stapp brothers have built a very successful aftermarket business by focusing on customer needs, and they have established a great reputation with the people of Russell Springs through their many contributions to the community.”
