Chevrolet has a comprehensive lineup of vehicles to tackle every inch of your business. From construction to delivery to hauling a crew, Chevrolet’s commercial vehicles are perfect for any fleet owner.
Chevrolet’s Low Cab Forward trucks comprise a large bulk of that work load; from the hardworking 3500 and 4500 6.0-L V8 gasoline-powered trucks to the 4500HD, 4500XD, 5500HD, and 5500XD diesel-powered trucks, and now the 6500XD LCF, these trucks come ready to perform.
OUTSIDE
The cab over design of the truck is ideal for delivery drivers that are constantly going in and out of their truck. Drivers can enter the cab with ease and safety from 90-degree-wide-open front doors and wide entry steps with cornering lamps. The 6500XD also features a passenger side ground clearance mirror for added functionality.
The length of the LCF allows plenty of cargo space and is ideal for urban delivery of bulky cargo like furniture, frozen foods, and even construction material. And, with a cargo area at dock-height, your loadings will be that much easier.
INSIDE
The 6500XD LCF is available in a regular cab type with standard features such as an air suspension driver’s seat and power door locks and windows that add to the comfort of your work ride. If your truck also doubles as a workspace, the Chevy LCF has you covered. The engineers of the vehicle designed a fold-down tray into the cab that works as laptop or desk area. The cab also features convenient storage in the doors, overhead shelf, seatback pockets, dash, doors, and rear organizer tray.
UNDER
The 6500XD has eight possible wheelbase configurations that allow box lengths of 14 to 30 ft. The truck is powered by a 5.2-L turbo-diesel I-4 engine that provides 520 lb-ft of torque and 215 hp. The 6500XD features an Allison 2550 Rugged Duty Series automatic transmission with lockup and PTO gear. This Class 6 truck has a GVWR of 25,950 lbs, so feel free to bring everything. If your 6500XD ever needs special attention, the truck features a tilt cab for easy engine access.
The 6500XD rolls on 22.5-inch wheels and tires with standard air brakes, and with a standard 50 or 100-gallon fuel tank (depending on your wheelbase), you can roll for a long time. No matter your business, Chevrolet ensures an easy upfit with its LCFs. The chassis are prewired for a trailer harness and brakes to reduce the time and cost of upfitting, and the trucks can accommodate a wide range of body applications from 14 to 30 ft.
OVER
What makes buying a Chevy even better is the 2018 Business Choice Program, available from January 3, 2018, to January 2, 2019. Business customers who purchase or lease a new Chevrolet LCF, Silverado, Colorado, or Express with work ready upfits or qualified Chevrolet Accessories may be eligible for cash allowances toward their vehicle purchase. With the new tax laws in effect, businesses large and small could also benefit from a big tax deduction this year. This could include a deduction of up to 100 percent of the purchase price on certain vehicles, including large SUVs, trucks, and vans.
Owners can be sure they’re investing in their business with the purchase of a commercial vehicle from Chevrolet, especially if that purchase is a 6500XD LCF. With all its cargo room and maneuverability, this truck is worth a look at every angle.
