The City of Denton, Texas, recognized Peterbilt Motors Company for Outstanding Leadership Investment in Denton for 2020. Peterbilt has been a member of the Denton community for 40 years.
The Economic Development Partnership Board of Denton reviews each of the numerous company nominations. The board reviews each company based on public/private partnerships, job creation, and community relations. They also reviewed support, longevity, and commitment to community, leadership in their industry, successful business practice, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
Denton mayor Chris Watts says Peterbilt’s dedication to the community makes Denton a great place to live and work. She also said it was her honor to recognize Peterbilt with the award.
“I would like to thank the City of Denton for recognizing Peterbilt with this special award,” says Jason Skoog, Peterbilt general manager and PACCAR VP. “Peterbilt has been honored to call Denton home for more than 40 years. And we remain dedicated to investing in our facilities, our employees and the surrounding community we are so proud to be a part of.”
