Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America announce a partnership with Geotab. The partnership offers an integrated, factory-fit telematics solution and best-in-class technology platform, providing comprehensive management, diagnostics, compliance, and driver support.
“Geotab Connected by Mack enables customers and drivers to generate multiple reports that can help them be more efficient and improve productivity—all through one integrated platform,” says David Pardue, Mack Trucks vice president of connected vehicle and uptime services.
Geotab Connected by Mack and Geotab Drive + Fleet for Volvo is a cloud-based platform. It requires no additional installation or hardware on 2015 and newer Mack and Volvo truck models. The device, factory-installed in every Mack, sends engine and positional data to the cloud, then generates automatic duty status logs. Drivers access these through the Geotab Drive app, allowing for an easy-to-use option to receive accurate records of duty status.
