World of Concrete revealed Work Truck Live!, an all-new experiential initiative designed to showcase the innovations in a contractor’s most important asset—trucks.
Presented by Modern WorkTruck Solutions in a dedicated exhibit area, the event will debut January 17-19, 2023, in Las Vegas. Held in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, contractors will discover work truck innovations and accessories that help increase safety and productivity. Work Truck Live! will bring attention to industry-leading companies that manufacture chassis and supply upfitting accessories. The event will also attract companies that develop technologies contractors can implement to customize their vehicles to their business.
Modern WorkTruck Solutions, a media brand of Highlands Publications based in Birmingham, Alabama, focuses on the fleet-based work truck market. The publication team will contribute expertise to the interactive area and educational program. Attendees will benefit from the initiative’s curated selection of chassis and trailer manufacturers as well as accessory vehicle product manufacturers. The experience is easily accessible to event participants in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“We could not be more excited to introduce Work Truck Live! at the next edition of World of Concrete,” says Kevin Archibald, senior show manager of World of Concrete. “Work Truck Live! is such an important initiative, as powerful and efficient work trucks are the backbone of our community’s everyday efforts. The manufacturers that make our attendees’ lives easier, more productive, and increasingly enjoyable through the development of new technology innovations and products now have a dedicated platform at World of Concrete to showcase the latest must-have additions to work truck fleets.”
EDUCATIONAL SESSION & RIDE AND DRIVE
In addition to Work Truck Live!, World of Concrete will debut a Ride and Drive where attendees can test-drive select Class 1 to Class 7 vehicles. Approved drivers and passengers will experience the vehicle in a closed, short loop located near the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Ride and Drive will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday during World of Concrete.
“Between Work Truck Live! and the Ride and Drive program, there is no better place for our community to discover the best vehicles and supporting technology and accessories available on the market than World of Concrete,” says Russell Haddock, president, Highlands Publications. “We are honored to partner with World of Concrete to gather a wide range of vehicles for all types of concrete and masonry construction professionals, offering the hard-to-come-by seat time in various styles of work trucks that attendees may be considering for use in their fleets.”
Additionally, World of Concrete will feature a technical session as a part of the event’s educational programming featuring industry experts. They will explore timely topics contractors should know and consider when searching for and specifying new work trucks. The full educational agenda will be announced soon.
